A poem. I kinda wrote it with a self-made tune, so it can double as a song, I guess.
Look into the sky and then you'll see
The clouds float by just above me
Whimsical, happy, just carefree
The way it is supposed to be

The songs of thrushes
And happiness rushes
Around my heart, time and time
Bells from churches
An end to searches
Cacophony finally starts to rhyme

Fingers wrapped within my own
A smell my nose attempts to loan
Hair that drifts in space unknown
And time that breaks through rock and stone

My heart, it rushes
The beating surges
I feel like I'm about to blow
I enjoy trances
With my enchantress
I would never want to go

The sky, it darkens
The cloud line thickens
My grip then tightens
My heart never listens...

Lightning crashes
Sporadic flashes
This illusion was never mine
Wettened rashes
Upon eyelashes
This pain will always be my fine

How hard I've tried?
How long I've strived?
Yet how hard I've been deprived...
For it's the good who've always cried.
