First sun after six days and nights of rain
Timidly at first, the sun peeped through the morning mist.
More boldly, it placed itself in the sky as if taking some risk.

Cloudy and overcast, appeared the day.
Even with the sun's own bright rays.

Quickly, emboldened by its success.
The sun took charge of the mist and the rest.

Soon, the sky was all ablaze.
With sunshine cutting right through the haze.

Peeping no more, the sun was in charge.
A picture of happiness and living large.

What a sight to see as the sun fully broke through.
Changing everything including me who was feeling so blue.

The sun had broken through the mist and the rain.
Showing everyone that nothing remains the same.
