Trading my beloved Mac for the cheaper PC
When I read the words Technology Disaster my immediate reaction was to curse the day I had to switch from a Mac to a PC. My first four computers were Macs and the only problem I ever had with the Macs was that I had to upgrade every few years and they're expensive. I didn't have to worry about viruses, or crashes, and I was skilled with the Mac computer.  And then my partner dragged me kicking and screaming to the PC store and I reluctantly purchased one. I hated the thing. And after purchasing at least  five desk tops, three laptops, and four tablets (three for kids in my life) I still haven't gotten over my love affair with Macs. People who haven't been spoiled by the Mac often say that the Mac and PC operate the same.  I roll my eyes and mumble, 'only an idiot would think that'. In fact, although Microsoft tried to create a operating system for the PC that worked like the Mac operating system; it didn't work because, where the Mac has a lot of intuitive functions, creating seamless actions, the PC has to go through two or three operations to achieve the same action.

I've adjusted to my disaster by purchasing my PCs from Dell and contracting services to keep the PC running well. Although, I'm not sure I trust the technicians going inside my computers while they are in some country hundreds of miles away. But, like many other technological advantages I put up with it to make my life easier.
