To my fiancee, who passed away in a car accident 26/3/10
"Yes"
no other word
so sweet

question
feel my heart
beat

down
on one knee; you make me
complete

ring
in opened casket, shining,
for you

answer
made my world
new

us
promises together
two

kiss
that gave me life
again

night
black, speed, beer,
rain

crash
sirens, chaos, surreal
pain

coma
as you lay there, my heart
died

refusing
to leave, staying at
your side

closed,
the casket, the ring on your finger
inside

tears
such as I have never
known

a spirit
beautiful and free
has flown

far
above, into the stars
unknown

a rose
on your grave every
day

in dreams
you come; I hear your voice,
you say:

"Yes"
no sweeter word in the world...
no way...
