A day in the life of a librarian.
Bang Bang It is the sound I create
Bang Bang it echoes through the building and out the front gates
Bang Bang I have checked out two thousand two hundred and forty two books today
Bang Bang I sit and watch all day
but who cares what this librarian has to say
Do these children even read?
Do they even know of Kafka or Sewall and her mighty black stead
Will they revel in the horrors of Poe?, I doubt that indeed
Hast they readeth of two star crossed lovers?
Or perhaps the sadness of Millers brothers?
ahhh here comes another, I sit up straight
Bang Bang It is the sound I create
Bang Bang it echoes through the building and out the front gates
Bang Bang I have checked out two thousand two hundred and forty three books today
Bang Bang I can only sit and wait
