An article about a smart young man
John worked at a construction site for Mr Smith. Mr Smith like most business men was greedy and was tempted to rob the old lady they were building for. Unfortunately the grandson to the old lady was a lawyer doing labor relations. Mr Smith was found to be over charging the old lady and was arrested together with his employees. John, father of Isaac was one of the employees

John being the bread winner of his family, he's arrest made Isaac very sad. Isaac now had to find money for bail and keep things going for him and his sister who is still very young. Isaac is doing his metric and the sister is still in grade one.

Isaac is a very smart and clean young man who strongly believes in God. One afternoon Isaac was walking to home from school looking very sad and tired. As he was walking looking down he heard a voice giving directions. He looked up and saw a man who was buzy giving directions in the parking lot. Isaac watched the man as the man was showing cars the parking space and controlling order. The man would direct a driver to a parking space and then stretch his hand to get something from the driver. Isaac wondered what it was.

Isaac went to the man and asked him what the driver of the car gave him. The man got angry thinking Isaac is one of the naughty and disobedient boys found walking around town. The man chased Isaac away, Isaac was very shocked and walked home feeling very sad. Down the road not very far from the parking lot, as Isaac was walking looking very sad, an old man living in the streets could not help but wonder what was bothering this handsome young man who looked very clean and well mannered.

The old man walked in front of Isaac and asked if Isaac was hungry. The old man knew what hunger does to a person. "Are you hungry?"( Asked the old man), " no sir !! "( Answered Isaac). "Then why such a long face?"( Asked the old man). Isaac told the old man what the man in the parking lot did to him." Ha ha ha, " (laughed the old man). "What is funny?"( Isaac asked the old man), "the poor man is probably ashamed of the one rand coins he gets" (answered the old man).

The old man told Isaac that the man in the parking lot gets one rand for parking the car and one rand for watching it, he probably makes ten rands a day, said the old man. Isaac remembered that bread costs ten rands, so if he made ten rands a day then him and his sister would have bread to eat every day.

Isaac went on and asked the old man who is allowed to do that job, the man told him its any one who is willing. Since the schools closed that day, Isaac knew he had to apply for that job. Isaac knew he had to study for exams, but he decided he would study at night. The following day Isaac went to apply for the job at the parking lot at the City Mall and he got the job. He started working and the mall was perked, cars were coming and one rand coins were given to Isaac.

The night reached and the mall closed. Isaac went home and started to count the coins. He counted and counted until he realized that he has made over a thousand rands with these one rand coins. He was shocked, but being a child of God he remembered that great things come from smaller things and good things come to those who wait while greater things come to those who go out and get them.

Isaac was very happy he could afford bail for his father. He walked to town with a big smile on his face. It was his day off at work. On his way Isaac met with the man who chased him away the other day. The man asked Isaac why he was so happy, I saac told him about the job at the city mall and the amount he made just from one rand coins.

Isaac then went to his boss and asked if the father could get the job since Isaac had to study. The father got the job and started working. After realizing that people only gave him one rand coins and not ten rands paper!!! and that the mall was not perked at all. The father got very upset and became very rude to people.

What the father did not know is that, greater things come from smaller things, he did not kow that the ten rand paper he was expecting comes from the one rand coins he despised. The reason Isaac made a lot was because he knew it was month end and the mall would be perked, and he only expected little because little was enough for that moment.
