Poem about my sons
You teach them
You raise them
You rear them and then

You watch them
You see them
You hope they can fend

For themselves
In this place
That you built then you lend

Them the reins
To this world
With the hope they defend

All your cares
All your dreams
All they won’t comprehend

All your work
All your fears
All your hope they will spend

All their time
All there treasure
All there is just to tend

To the next
To the new
For the future lots end

Just to be
Just to have
Just to live without them

All in time
Time for all
Time to set a new trend

But we don’t
Or we can’t
Or we won’t as we send

Them our cares
And our dreams
And our fears till the end

Based on love
Based on pride
With our will to intend

All the best
Life can be
All they need to be them
