Life is short, but there is always time enough for courtesy. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Manners mean discipline, whether it is table manners, manners of meeting people or any other kind of manners. These amenities will demonstrate the moral literacy of your family and ancestors. You eat hastily, people will think your parents are in urbane. You talk foolishly, people will think your progenitors are preposterous.Your every act will represent your family.Put yourself in an onlooker's shoes;won't you think what have their parents taught them?I doubt anyone will fully blame the ill-mannered person. If on the other hand you see someone eating and talking at just the right pace, the discourteous person will be no match with him or her.

Wouldn't you feel bad if someone called your parents bad names? But why regret when it is partially(or in some cases completely) your fault?Even if you don't do it intentionally, you should be careful for our manners are like our mirrors to other people.Although you shouldn't care what people say('cuz what do they know?)you mustn't let something as important as this float over you.

Parents are the building blocks of life and if your base isn't strong you will collapse. Therefore,as no one wants to see their offspring in trouble, parents try to be picture perfect;and they succeed almost up to 70%.In such cases it is the heir's fault. At adolescence, teens are responsible for themselves.Through time and work everyone succeeds and so will you if you don't have the necessary etiquette in you.Change is necessary........and so are manners.*Smile*
