Earth's different colors...
Green.
Sitting on the forest floor,
I count a thousand trees,
and then some more.
Green is all I see.

Blue.
A gleam of light pierces through
the water that is all around.
I get back my sense of vision,
but I can't hear a sound.
Blue is all there is.

Red.
The sun sets the sky on fire.
It burns as I watch.
A spectacle to behold.
Darkness turns it down a notch.
Red steals the show.

White.
I lie on my back and look up,
at the flakes that fall.
It hides everything around me,
the trees, the cars - covers them all.
White chills my bones.

So many colors,
so many faces.
A thousand secrets,
a million places.

Drops of rain,
flakes of snow,
the earth puts on
quite the show
