A Picture prompting a dark poem of a life in chains.
Chains of life hold you back
In pursuit of your goals
In everything you lack
Evil lurks in black souls

You fight against evil
Persist against the grain
Challenging upheaval
Pursuing all in vain.

This life settles heavy
Crashes though your world view
Royals press the levy
And your hopes; very few.

Wish for the end to come
To take your pain away
Leaving you feeling glum
Betrayal comes today.

Hang your head, full of shame
Time stands and slips away
Let go and fail to claim
The light; fading to grey.
