Personification of the days of the week.
Saturday has come to play, but clouds and winds deter her
Rain has found its way inside, but we find a place to hide.
Sunday looks on and sighs, contentment comes from within.
Sleepy minds lie down awhile, and snuggle to the divine.
Monday comes with harsh, brute force, muscling her way in.
She does not care what you want, only sees the demands.
Tuesday settles into routine, relaxed, but ever alert.
Work does not stop, but carries on to meet the growing pile.
Wednesday lingers a moment in dreams, then sits back in her chair.
She focuses on the task at hand, and tucks away those dreams.
Thursday works a steady beat, but smiles at something planned.
She doesn't linger at anything, it's get it done, on demand.
Friday bounces into work, her jubilation apparent.
As day grows into afternoon she can hardly be contained.
Saturday comes around again, willing us to play
We put aside our adult ties and take up with the game.
