Just something in Micah's words
Micah is my name. I’m what’s called a storyteller. I can create a short story quickly and from nothing at all. It’s a gift, and this has helped others.

In high school, I had a friend who was knocked out, unconscious for a week. The doctors told his parents that it would be beneficial if they would speak to him, read to him, and sing to him. His mother asked his friends if they would be willing to help. I showed up to his room right after lunch and told him a couple of short stories. A nurse had overheard them and asked if I would tell them to the kids in the pediatric ward. How can someone say no?

Everyone responded well to it, so it became regularity: I’d read to them after reading to my friend. When he finally awoke, he told the nurses that he had some odd dreams, ones where he would be a knight or a 1930s private investigator. One told him I read stories to him, short stories I created, and that he dreamed what I was telling.

He told the nurse, along with his parents and doctors, of what happened. He stated that after each dream ended, he wanted to get back, return to reality.

When he left the hospital, the nurses asked me to continue with the children reading, since they noticed a marked improvement in their health and attitudes after I left.
