A short chapter of some random writing done a couple years back...

His barbaric actions just scared me. How violent he had become
since he started these medications just a few weeks ago. What have
they done to him? He no longer seems to be my little baby brother any
more. I fell through contempt as I tried to calm him down. But his
violent swinging arms, I didn’t want to get hurt. The impotence
of my older sister didn’t help either. He wouldn’t stop.
He couldn’t stop. These medications turned him into a monster.
Oh no, my little baby brother, a monster. How could this happen?

The next day, I went to his physiologist’s office. I tried
to talk things out. Nothing helped. He kept presuming that these
pills could do such stuff to my baby brother, but he refused to
prescribe another prescription.  I filed charges against Dr. Simeon.
I made sure that he had no possible way to vindicate himself from the
court system.

But the court system didn’t improve. They told me that my
evidence was not enough. And I stood there, like they had just
stamped a big red ‘unmitigated’ sign on my forehead. I
was furious. But I wasn’t going to give up.

I decided to let it go for the next few hours, to try and empty my
mind of all this stress. I visited an antique shop. This cute and
humble little antique shop had many things, from old time Victorian
sofas to old bibles from the 1830’s. In the back of the little
shop, I found an antiquary. We talked for hours. But I noticed that
this shop barely gets any costumers. I felt sorry for this poor guy.
I wanted to help him, but I have to deal with my own faults first.

As I walked along the river bank, I spotted a couple swans. How
beautiful they were. With their white silk feathers and black
feathers that look exotic. I was amazed to find so many just swimming
around this one river. It was a very slow river, I got admit. But it
just didn’t seem right. I glanced at my watch. It was almost
dinner time.  Papa will be angry if I’m not in time for dinner.
I hurried back home.

When I walked through the front door, everything was loud. My baby
brother found his way up to the entrance chandelier. I stared in
shock. He was chewing on the golden metal that connected one
candleholder to the base of the chandelier. He’s eating metal.
Oh my god. He is no longer a human but an animal.

My mama was coaxing Andy to come down from the chandelier. He just
kept chewing the metal. He ignored my mama. He sneered at my papa. I
tried to imply that none of this was going to help. We have to call
the medics.

Once the medics arrived to our house, they stared in shock. But
their shocked images changed within a second. They now looked calm
and collected. I guess they knew what was happening. They took out an
empty squirt bottle from one of their briefcases. They gave it to my
sister and told her to fill it with cold water. My sister went right
ahead and brought it back a few seconds later filled with ice water.

The medics squirted Andy a few times. At first, Andy didn’t
budge. Then he peeled himself from the chandelier and landed on both
feet.  The medics explained the contradistinction of the following
things that were happening in the next ten hours they stayed. By the
time they left, we had learned to always carry a squirt bottle when
Andy was home.
