Freehand poem
You were my mistress
I was sold.
You kept me warm when I was cold
"Im always here"
So I was told.
You had me trapped inside your hold
Red and bold.
You daunted me
Taunted me
Teased me
Made me disbelieve me.
The messages where there
In my mind, but I didnt dare care
Just sat there with a flat smile and a
Dark stare.
You lied, I cried
I died in myself
Thinking youd always be
in my heart upon a shelf.
A bitter delight, both hidden, and in plain sight.
You blackened my eyes, got rid of my light.
You covered my lips, you buried my plight.
You forced yourself in.
I let you.
I gave up my fight.
My spite of you will last longer,
But in forgiveness I am stronger.
For the knowledge you have taught me proved everything else wronger.
I say farewell to you
And all that you are
Without you im better
A human.
A star.
