A poem i'd written in tribute to a lost friend.
She was bullied at school,
abused at home,
fed up with her life,
with no friends to phone.
Her eyes no longer sober,
her tears began to fall.
She screamed in her room,
slammed her fist into the wall.

The note was already written,
she'd said all her goodbyes.
It was time for her to go now,
she wiped the tears out of her eyes.

She brought the knife to her wrist,
felt the blades stinging kiss.
Lays down,
cut open
on her bed.
her white sheets
now tainted
by the dark crimson red.

In her life it was sad,
she was always alone,
but heaven rejoices,
as an angel comes home.
