Ramblings of a teenage girl and her diary entries.
Dear Diary

The wind blows Sandy's hair onto her face one final time before she enters her home. Raking it away she enters the living room then breaks off to her solo bedroom. Plopping onto her bed after promptly laying her books on the nightstand, she thinks why does life have to be soooo boring? Sandy spends the next forty-five minutes finishing up her homework. Can't let the grades lag!  The next hour is spent helping Mom with supper, then after the family of three has eaten, she helps with the dishes.Oh well, diary time I guess.Getting things in order for the few minutes she knows she'll spend writing in her diary. She begins.

Day 843 - Sandy Bloomington

  Dear Diary

Yes, it's me again, haven't written since yesterday! Another boring day at school yet again! Things are looking up for Michelle though, she said her and Mark went to the drive-in this past weekend and that they got to french for a little while. Will I ever be so lucky? I heard today that a Junior in our school had to quit, presumably, she is pregnant, but I don't have a name yet on her. Better her than me though. I thought I saw a cutie looking my way today, although he never actually spoke to me.

signing off til later

Sandy

Sandy watches the school clock tick ever so slowly, as a rule she's convinced that it runs at half-speed on Fridays.
finally 3:10, the bell rings for dismissal. Finally she thinks, a weekend of freedom! Walking the 3 blocks to get to her home she wonders what the weekend will bring her. She knows her best friend Michelle will wind up at the drive-in again, locking lips with the love of her life, Mark.
