A poem I wrote in my senior year in High school in 1980.
A Senior's Poem

The time is drawing near,

It's coming to an end.

Our schooldays are nearly over,

And our life is to begin.

For twelve long years we've been,

To the same old place,

with the same old friends.

The memories we will have,

Of the joys we've shared.

Sometimes we had fun,

Other times we were scared.

Though the past twelve years,

have really seemed so rotten.

Deep in our minds,

They will never be forgotten.

Remember on test days,

All you felt was fright.

My friend the final test is coming,

after graduation night.
