Holding Calm

What holds us together throughout our life?
What holds us together throughout our strife?

So many things could appear in your mind
but only the best could be what would bind

All others around you can only see
exactly what you make yourself to be

So always be sure you put on a show
just to be positive that they do know

That one single aspect pleases the crowd
one single trait that can never be loud

That one single action is being polite
and in society, it's quite a sight

Always stay calm through rough situations
and stay quiet through loud conversations

People all over don't think this is true
but I have found it works better than glue
