Can you relate to the Black Faith?
Hope is a dangerous thing.
We spend years clinging to our beliefs,
Yet, not one soul knows what the outcome will be.
Failure, however, holds back only the lost,
For the hopeful, die hoping.
Hopeful for love, although some pass alone.
Hopeful for fortune, yet some leave here,
Without even socks to wear on their feet.
Hopeful for Him, to ease our aching hearts,
When the afterlife beckons us forth.
I only hope that you learn from my pain,
And for that, death seems worth.
