Tells of the experience through life, love, hope, and death.
Experience the madness
endure the sadness

Maintain a mentality of sure bliss
Never forget about that first kiss

Learn to hold on but to let go
Only then will you finally know

Learn that love is not sugar, spice and everything nice
It is misfortune, hardships, and hands cold as ice

Experience the insanity of it all
Make sure he never lets you fall

Maybe loving and loathing are really just the same
Maybe it was just you that was to blame

Perhaps dying is not as scary as it used to be
Maybe you were not here just to sightsee

Have you ever thought about the idea of leaving?
It will seem like you are being deceived while grieving

Just take hold of his hand and remember the feel
Of the callouses and scars from the heart he did steal

Take note of the pitch of his laugh
Remember that he is your other half

Press your lips into the form of his own
For he will never make you feel alone

Wrap your arms around his neck
And give his cheek a little peck

His love will he always give
Until the moment when you cease to live

Even with all your time running out
With words fine as silver, your love will he write about

No sickness or disease
Will ever cause your love to be ill at ease

Spend all the time you can with him
Before your eyes start to swim

A dozen roses will he give
Just for the chance for you to live

He will hope and he will pray
For you to last another day

Do not lead him with false hope
But do not cut him from this rope

Let it out gently and with care
Leave him not with a negative prayer

Tell him of your future plans
Refuse to let him see the scans

Kiss his lips for one last time
Thank him for being your partner in crime

Tell him you love him and you will see him again soon
Remind him to spare a thought of you every afternoon

With that being said, hold his hand and let go of your breath
For the time has come that you must now accept your death

As the light fades from your eyes
He kisses you as you say your final goodbyes

You lift your soul to the heavens on high
But look down to see him start to cry

You will your spirit to come to him once more
You plant a kiss on his soul as yours starts to soar

Goodbye my love and remember to this day
That in your heart will I always stay
