enjoy a moment of life
i awake...
i want to,
PINCH myself.

i look...
at the break,
of the new dawn.
my heart soars,
on the wings of an eagle,
skimming the skyline,
for its first shimmer of light.

a BRIGHT awakening,
i feel good...
the sun rises,
smiling upon my eyes.

yes... it's going,
to be a glorious day!

a cup...
hot brewed coffee,
aw... i sip it slowly!

SAVORING... the silence,
savoring... what might come next!
