A collection of my recent poetry
Here

When all else is gone,

When I am all alone,

When the crowds have

Disappeared,

That is when I smile,

It is when I’m truly here.

Truth

Dreams sift through the mist

Whispering into my ear,

And I know the truth.

Remember

I am a pessimist,

But I find the glass

Half full

I am a realist,

But I am distracted

By dreams

I am a bit depressed,

But I am as happy

As can be

All people suffer a bit

Differently

And not everyone will

Show it when something

Hurts them

The next time you say

Something, even jokingly,

It would do you well to

Remember that.

See me

I love it when people

Say hello to me or wave

When they see me.

I love it when people

Laugh at my jokes or smile

When they see me.

I love it when people

Take my seriously and kindly

When they see me.

And I love it when people

See me as well as I

Try to see them.

Cruelty

I wish I could hear

What was said behind her back

That pushed her to this.
