This is a poem about the perception of lies.
Son Nguyen-Lies

In the tender flesh, thou see
Lay numerous awful lies of thee
For thou, who sustains purity within
Still incapable of avoiding thy sin.

For pure truths, thou yearn to know
But cannot utter the words of gold.
Years after years, I shall prevail
No good deeds accomplished, thou hast failed

The wise man of time has foretold
Only cowardice, thou art not bold.
Thy lies lie deep in the darkest nights
Cannot be compared with valiant knights.

Do not state a vow that thou cannot swear
For a sin that thou will painfully bear.
Honest thou shalt seek, deception thou shalt forbid
No punishment, no torment, only thy bliss.

Never perceive that ye are dissimilar
For ye are all grateful sinners.
But honor is what ye strive for
And the path to redemption shall open its door.
