The bystander

How crucial are these moments...
steal your self control and concentrate - focus on reality, on this finality and feel...its intense
searing pain, its sickened sobering anguish.

Falling tears do so quickly burn and dry, as twisted
limbs, young and old are so roughly woven and matted to limp lifeless forms...
Mothers outstretched arms, their pleading faces, their silenced wails and moans... In utter mindless waste...its murderous pace.

Here streets run red for the many dead.
A dying sun bleeds upon a heathen ground, there is
No sound...

Weep and sob aloud...but shed no tears for its useless cause.
Do not freeze or choose to simply flee...embrace the scene and cooly breathe with affected normality

Chase this sparse space for hidden clues, for answers...let its
Silence disclose each clue, each reason...see how
Slowly swing those pendulums, and how softly fall those grains whilst time lays in wait for us all...for us all...
