How far can a compulsive behavior deter one’s supposed happy moment?
Her hands trembled. Her mouth stuffed with food. The mustard sauce splashed on the dress. The tomato ketchup and the burger dropped on her lap. She rushed to the bathroom to clean the mess on her dress. "Oh, please! Get clean! I need you for my wedding today!"

The soap slipped from her hand. She bent down to reach for it. The back of her dress ripped open. The water on the sink overflowed that when she moved to inspect her ripped dress on the mirror, she skidded on the floor. Her shoes broke.

Mrs. Hatkinson knocked on the door. She heard the sound of spilling water. She opened the door. Shocked to see her daughter sprawled on the floor wet with tears and water. The make-up trickled down on her daughter’s face. She noticed the stains on the wedding dress. “Mama, what will I do now?”

“Get up, Bridgette! I’ll call Peter to cancel your wedding.” She reached for her cellphone from her handbag.

“But, Mom…”

“Peter loves you, he will understand. He can wait for you until… until you get over this compulsive consumption of food. Besides, you’re only nineteen. You have plenty of…”

Peter answered the call.
