A short poem I wrote at school about a summer romance.
Summer Romance

it must be hard forgetting,
When everything means so much
The sounds, emotions and memories
Just close enough to touch.

The tranquil sea against the rocks
The breeze against our skin
You take my hand, It's hard to breath
Like the air is getting thin

The sun is shining down on us
But still, why can't you see?
No matter what happens here
I know we could never be

Our time is ticking, running out
To you I could never lie
Five, four, three, two
Now the final goodbye
