This is a descriptive essay about Seattle.
Traffic and people bustle along beneath towering structures and cranes. Streets flow in a one-way manner. They flow down to the waterfront. Other streets flow parallel to it, through the city buildings. The cars and people are constant.

Rectangular buildings stand together. One is more Art Deco, covered in glass. A vintage tower rises; it has the beauty of white marble. A pyramid stands on top. Buildings there house offices, apartments, and various businesses.

On the water large boats pass, carrying automobiles and people. They traverse the sound to the islands and peninsulas across the way, which appear faintly in the distance. Large cargo ships load up at the docks, and then depart. The water is dark; it is cold, green, and blue.

Towards the center of the city stands the space age tower. Built in the past, yet loved today. It symbolizes the city.

The city continues.
