An opinion of the black on black crime
My heart bleeds for a generation that just doesn't understand
We didn't choose to be dealt a crappy hand
We lived the struggle and reached past strife
In order to give our children a better life
Only to see that yall chose the streets
And created all these fictitious beefs
I cry everyday reading another black kid dead
I just can't understand what's going through their head
This generation is lost but I don't know why
Every time i think about it all i can do is cry
They are lost and they don't even care
When I try to reach one they just look at me and stare
I look into the eyes of a lost little boy
Who plays with a gun like it's just a toy
What will it take for them to see
That each black death kills our humanity
