This is a poem about the ups and downs of diabetes!!
As I sit here at the table
My blood sugar is unstable.
It peaks, then drops, like a yo-yo.
Why is it confusing me so?

From super high to super low,
It really is an awful blow
To my poor kidneys, heart and eyes,
Its damage is hard to disguise!!
