Maybe this is an essay. I'm not sure. I know it was a dark Alaskan winter night.........
A dark night. A dark room. Blackness. No. Not blackness. Black is a color. I can see black. I can't see now. There is no light. I can't see. My sight is of nothingness. What does nothingness look like? Now I can tell you. Nothing. Nothingness looks like nothing. What do I think about nothingness? Nothing. When I think about nothingness, my mind goes blank. I believe I sleep. Are my eyes open? I believe I'm sleeping. I open my eyes and it's still dark. Maybe I'm blind. What does nothing feel like? What does nothing smell like? Nothing. I don't feel anything. I don't smell anything. Nothing. Am I still thinking about nothing? Is my mind still blank? Am I sleeping or awake? Maybe I'm dead.
