A poem of global warming.
Gone, Gone, Gone

While Mother Earth is warming up
Fuel we burn by the ton
What happens if we cannot stop?
Gone, Gone, Gone

Polar ice and glaciers melt
But trapped wildlife can't run
As to the fate of polar bears?
Gone, Gone, Gone

Melting ice will raise the seas
The rising has begun
And Florida's lovely Everglades?
Gone, Gone, Gone

Alaska now is warming up
With warming insects come
Millions of Alaskan trees
Gone, Gone, Gone

Some may see increasing drought
On some more rain will drum
What of our fragile food supply?
Gone, Gone, Gone

There is still time to set it right
But time will not last long
And if time runs out will we be
Gone, Gone, Gone?
