Learn the practice of meditation while enjoying the short guided meditation included.
What is Meditation?

Most of us view meditation as sitting cross legged holding our hands in an upright position and chanting “OHM!” Although this is one way to meditate, it is not the only way. Meditation is how we quiet the mind. During meditation, we are able to release all the clutter in our minds from every day life, which in return relaxes the body.
When we meditate we are able to focus our mind on positive things and release the negative. We are able to bring peace and connect with our inner self, guides and angels receiving clear and divine messages. Within meditation, we are able to find a peaceful and relaxing place to go while still being alert. Meditation brings us to a higher state of awareness bringing transformation and aiding us in finding our true purpose in life.

Tips For Meditation

Remember, when our energy is not in balance…our life is not in balance…when our life is out of balance…we not only affect our own experiences…but we affect the energy around us.

Some tips to begin meditating are:
         Wear loose clothing
Find a peaceful area that you will not be disturbed by anyone including a phone.
Give yourself permission to relax and focus on this time that is healing.
Either lie down or sit in a comfortable chair
As you awaken from this meditation, write down all the thoughts that come to you.
Write the information that your guide has given you and shown you.
Keep a journal of every meditation and you will find that a story will begin to form.
Follow this journal as you continue onto your true life’s purpose.

Quieting the Mind with The Candle Flame

Find a quiet time and place you will not be interrupted for 10 minutes. Then think about a peaceful place you can relax such as an exotic island, a relaxing beach or a peaceful mountaintop. Remember this place as “your peaceful retreat”. Turn on some peaceful and relaxing music lightly in the background.

Light a candle and dim the lights in the room or use the candle flame video.
NOTE: Be sure not to leave the candle unattended or to fall asleep while the candle is lit.

Ask for your angels and guides to surround you in a white light of protection. Relax your body as you visualize this white light of protection entering the top of your head and filling your whole being to the tips of your toes. Focus on the flickering flame as your mind and body relax. When a thought enters your mind about completing daily life tasks, tell that thought that you will talk to it later and release it into the flickering flame. If something negative enters your mind, release it into the flame of the candle and visualize that thought burning within the flame and being released to spirit. This is your time to relax and connect with your inner self. Continue staring at the flame of the candle for ten minutes as you relax and focus on your peaceful place of retreat. If you do not have a candle.

Be still and listen to the messages that are being brought to you. Trust that the messages you receive are real. Trust your inner guidance. Believe that your spiritual guides and angels are bringing these messages to you now. These messages may come in the sound of your own voice, a deceased loved ones voice or an unknown voice. They may come in images or thoughts. They may not make any sense to you at this very moment but know they are real and will make sense to you in time. After you have completed the visualization write down what you have experienced in your journal for later viewing.

NOTE: If you are using a real candle, do not leave the lit candle unattended and be sure not to fall asleep during meditation with candle still lit. If you feel you may fall asleep, please substitute with the youtube video at the link above.
