Her First Time

“Please, please don’t do this to me!!”
“Relax my dear, you’ve known all along this had to happen sometime in your life; and now is that time. When it’s over, I know you’ll thank me.”
Because of her fear, she barely felt the needle as it penetrated her flesh. Seconds later, what had been extreme sensory anticipation was replaced by an overpowering numbness.
“What did you just do to me?”
“That was to make your experience more pleasant. Please try to relax. This won’t take long at all. I guarantee you’ll be glad I did it to you when it’s over.”
Even with the numbness, her fear wasn’t quelled. She writhed in the chair as he approached her body and leaned closely in.
“Please, I’m begging you, stop. I know I won’t be able to stand it!”
“I’m sorry, but there’s no way to stop at this point. You know what’s going to happen. Just relax and let it.”
With that, he held her mouth open and inserted his instrument. In seconds, the deed was done and the first tooth she’d ever had pulled was in the dentist’s fingers.
