How were rocks created, and from where do they come?
Lots of rocks come in all shapes and sizes.

River rocks are polished smooth from the water rushing across them for centuries. They are layered with ornate lines. Grains of sand and dirt that has seen wild times somewhere in our past, and maybe been stuck between dinosaurs toes.

Others are jagged in nature, with edges so sharp, they cut you when you brush passed them. Cracks run so deep; ants build mansions within these rocks. They have super highways which run for acres beneath the ground. It doesn’t matter what time of year it is on the surface, because the rocks warm in the sun so they are hospitable year round.

Rocks that look dull and ordinary on the outside sometimes have crystals glowing inside. Crystals fallen from another planet, or jewels pressed from within the center of the earth.

Colors of brilliant green and the brightest blues, soft lavender and vivid pink,
Onyx as black as the black hole itself and crystal so pure it is devoid of blemishes.

Rocks are made of so many materials, and yet are simply compressed through time. They come in so many different sizes, shapes, and colors; you could run on forever about them.
Yet they do nothing except lay where they fall.
