I'm having a heartbreak
It's all because of you
Momma was right
She saw right through
Your perty looks and
Your silky words

Everyone was shocked
Even amazed
You picked me
I was so dazed
Little ol' me
That wallflower girl

Look at me now
All washed up
Alone and bitter
Momma was right
She saw right through
Your smiling face

It'll take some time
To find myself
To know what it's like
Not to feel so used
Momma was right
She saw right through you
