Glimmering hope, in stars.
Staring off into the sky
Up at stars, glimmering hope,
Wishing to fly and be among beams
To soar the universe,
Take wing in a midnight world
It seems to be paradise anew.

What childlike joy would fill a mind
To be no longer blue but free in the fresh slate.

The pure love of stars
That could be caught with innocent glee in a palm held close and dear,
Shimmering freely in the air to sear true destiny into
The eyes of a child
Wishing they were a star.
