a simple poem about what a tree remembers
A tree stands tall in the green field
forever reaching towards the sky.
The sun above the shade below
remembers scenes from days gone by.


Never forgetting the battlefield cries
savoring moments lovers embrace,
sheltering children who climb high
all of these things from days gone by.
