Music speaks to my soul and I hope this poem speaks to yours.
Music

An expression of freedom,
Of love and of peace.
A way to escape reality.
The world fully seized.

The trumpets are blaring.
The bass drums booming.
Electric guitars sounding,
Oh so wondrous and soothing.

The hidden sing out
For all haters to hear...
This is our voice!
We are here! We are here!

Rejoicing with great pride,
And drowning out our fears.
Music is our friend,
And it wipes away our tears.
