A poem about a bad time and a good relationship
Evil, thou are comest,
in my time of pain.

To release me from my sorrows,
I dare not to explain.

For the tide has taken hold of me,
and I am going down.

Into a place of darkness,
where I will surely drown.

So relieve me of my sorrows,
so I can fly again.

On wings of broken vows,
heavy with so many sins.

My love has found another,
to keep him warm at night.

Someone from the darkness,
which I have tried to fight.

Evil save me now,
and embrace me with your kiss.

Because I cannot,
forgive myself for this.

I have said to love another,
told him I'll still remain.

But now that is stated,
I am living with the pain.

He has found his happiness,
from the horror of his past.

But I am left to struggle,
and hope that this won't last.

I want to make him happy,
so my mouth I keep tightly shut.

But I know he is unfaithful,
when I know that they mind fuck.

He feeds me lies,
That I wish were true.

But the guilt would kill him,
if he knew how much I knew.

So, Evil, I ask you,
to save me from myself.

Take away my sorrows,
and leave me to my lies.

Because I can't live,
with hatred in his eyes.

For surely that would come,
if I made him choose.

And living with his hate,
still makes me lose.

So he can love another,
and I won't complain.

Because to not lose him,
I can live in pain.

So Evil if you can't,
take away my fears.

Find solace in the fact,
that I can live in tears.

My daughter needs me here,
so her father I won't leave.

But I have made the choice,
that my heart I must freeze.

My love for him remains,
for another there can't be.

My husband is my only,
and he will always be.

My first in so many things,
that another can't replace.

So in my heart he remains,
but in a broken place.
