Some of us feel that in the end all that we have is our wish and our need for it to be so.

Upon
The rim
Standing
Somehow
Lesser
A man
Coming
To this place
Breaking belief
Turning
From myself
Sidestepping fate
This
My latest
Last resort
Wishing well
In my hand
A coin
In mind
An idea
God above
Won’t answer
I’ve called out
Help me
If need be
Further save me
Lend an ear
Bend the rules
Do what it takes
Silent
He has remained
Rumored to be
Omnipresent
Proven
To be impotent
So here I am
Putting my faith
In something
Often entrusted
Wishing well
Gold
Is the coin
Valuable
A priceless
Possession
That if this
Does not work
Will be
Made worthless
The depths
Below are greater
Than any known
Into forever
Certainly it will fall
The bottom
Will not be found
Within my lifetime
And most others
It will sink
It will transcend
Wishing well
How will I know
Will I ever see
That which I
So desperately need
Unsure
Unclear
Probably to remain
Unaware
Upon
The rim
Standing
Somehow
Lesser
A man
Coming
To this place
Maybe a waste
Breaking belief
Turning
From myself
And most else
Down
My luck goes
Head over tails
All that I can do now
Is hope
That all that I need
In the end
Will come to be so
Wishing well…
