poem about a tree in the forest.
For the tree bent on its side
knows its time has come to die.
The leaves are gone, the bark has stripped
no longer can branches touch the sky.
The roots no more are nutrient rich
the rains rush by forming a ditch.
And no one hears the tree's death cries.
