Treasured Ghosts  (E)
Second Place Winner Newbies are the Judge 12-2015
#2067772 by Chris Breva

Christmas past haunts like a ghost
They are the ones I love most
Memories of days now gone by
Memories of lives now on high.

How I treasure each ghost so
Someday where they are I too will go
The road traveled by all men
The road from which we do not return again.

The ghosts of Christmas past dwell in my heart
These ghosts in my life were once a part
How I treasure each memory
How I wish their lives could be!

Love those whom you hold dear
To being ghosts we all are near!
