A twisted little poem about change in course and direction and my life of writing.

Facing front
Nothing
Is behind me
The same
Is ahead of me
Why move
I’m asking myself
Why as to leave
Speaking of all else
It must be decided
There is no time
It has be now
As always
I create these crisis
Out of nothing
It’s just what I do
How I was born
Slammed
Into this creation
I came in screaming
From that moment on
Up until this now
I’ve wanted to be heard
Shape and form
Oh how I’ve changed
From light to darkness
And all places between
Those who know me
Are profoundly amazed
Those who birthed me
Are somehow shamed
Never
So it seems
So it must be
Was I
To have any peace
God wanted me to learn
His cruelest of lesson
This very existence
Mine
Sublimation
Course and direction
Has made little difference
Change in all things loved
Belief in all things hated
Has mattered not
Destiny it seems
Can be altered
But not denied
I am paying my price
Via my own madness
These very words
They won’t let me rest
They won’t lend me peace
Course and direction
Are all that I have
And even those
Are subject to change
Nothing is as it should be
Nor will ever be…
