a conscience-stricken soul..
Yesterday a shadow scared me
It was as dark as our deeds,
How beautiful a mask it was wearing,
To my shock the only beautiful thing,
We followed.

Distracted , wondered we all companions
Enjoyed greed and immoral believers,
Dancing to the sound of guns and cries,
We laughed and left the bleeding dying.

Sacred saints we became and misled
And cheated with a hollow conscience,
Forgave the evil doers and punished the good,
We created a democracy of lies.

Yesterday a shadow scared me
And it was as dark as my deeds,
A game we played together, Called hide and seek,
I tried to hide all bad I did,
But sought a guilty me.
