I go to sleep knowing I'll wake up with her on my mind.

Her

The night drags on and I can't sleep.
I lay here toss and turn for my sweet.
When she is away I'm a lost person.
Hurting inside that is most certain.

We had an argument now she's gone.
I'll apologise when she comes home.
I'm hoping it is sooner and not later.
Missing or loving her which is greater.

I love to kiss her and hold her tight.
In the mornings or certainly at night.
This old house is like a prison cell.
Live in it until your soul goes to hell.

Tonight I'll try to sleep in this house.
But, thinking of her I have my doubt.
If she don't come back soon I'll die.
With no sleep and her that is why.
