Just thoughts about how we take our next few moments for granted...

When one walks in the daylight
it is with the certainty of the Known.

Throughout our days spent
in busy chaos, one only glances
to the left, to the right,
To be reassured of this constant.

Closing one’s eyes as familiar
liquid dark rolls in like the
dreaming tide, there is no panic..

Only the Known. Even in dreams!

Exotic realities far removed
from the everyday mundane,
upon waking
the foreign is dashed
to sun-hot sidewalks then
boils away from the Known.
