You always were my person. You're the best. I love you.

Mom

Dear Mom (I'm Sorry),

I am sorry for many things that I have done to you.
First, I am sorry for the scar that you have across your stomach permanently because I was stubborn and wouldn't turn my body around. I know you don't mind it now but I'm sorry for ruining your totally rocking body.

Second, I'm sorry for causing you so much stress in your life. I'm sorry that you would always wonder where I was at one in the morning. I know you always told me to check in, but I was a stupid teenager who thought being out with her friends was more important but I see now why you always would worry about me not checking in.

Next, I'm sorry for making you cry. Whether they were happy tears or sad tears, I still made you cry.

Last, I'm sorry for blaming you for things you didn't do. They were all my fault and I just get angry sometimes and blame other people for what I do.

Sincerely, Your very apologetic daughter.

Dear Mom (Thank You),

Thank you for everything that you have done for me.

First, thank you for putting up with my teenage year self. I don't know how you did it. I was seriously such a difficult teenager. Not that I got into trouble or anything but I sure did have an attitude.

Second, thank you for supporting me. You went to every sporting event that you could make it to and you always were the loudest person in the crowd. You spent hours upon hours supporting me whether it was concerts, sports, award ceremonies, or inductions.

Next, thank you for taking me to the endless amount of doctor appointments. No matter how far away from home they were, you always made sure that I was there. You hate to see me in pain and I'm thankful that you go above and beyond to take me to special doctors to try to find an answer to my problems.

Last, thank you for being you. You are a wonderful mother. You have put up with not only my attitude but the other three girls as well, you deserve a medal for that. Thank you for never giving up even when days get really tough and you think there is nothing else to do but give up. You always push yourself to do the best you can and you do. You're the best person I know and I wouldn't want my life to be any other way. I know we may fight and get mad at each other, but at the end of the day you're the one who is going to have my back and do anything and everything for me.

Sincerely, your thankful daughter.

P.S.

I hope that I am making you proud. I know that I have made plenty of mistakes, and I know that I am far from perfect but I try really hard to make you proud. I love you and you mean everything to me.
