Mysterious Island – Rhyme (Prompt 3/10/16)

Mysterious Island – Rhyme

Heavy aromas of ripe fruit wafts upwind
a midst our sails that blow and bend
Profuse foliage prevails over the land,
its edges rimmed with sparkling sand.

Mysterious Island – Prose

Pungent smells exciting our senses as,
pleasing breezes cool our journey.
Signs of life, Once Upon A Time,
consumed by Mother Nature's unforgiveness
