A poem analyzing my poetic pathways in life.
Writing poetry is like working a maze;
Peering through the verbal haze.
Use every word like it's a stepping stone;
When you place them right it will lead you home.

Easy to start but hard to finish;
Quick to begin yet difficult to end.
Like finding yourself in the middle of life;
With so many paths crossed
You are bound to get lost.

Just knowing the way
you already came,
Is why you must move forward
to stay in the game.

Too many words
no way to diminish,
But if you stay focused
You might find a finish.
