Poetry of loving a friend
Thinking of you,
and I can't stop.
Running away,
protecting my heart.

The distance is growing,
still don't stop the pain.
My feelings still follow,
my demons still gain.

My love for you is poison,
killing me slow.
But can't stop these feelings,
they continue to grow.

Little Rebel, I love you,
and it kills me to say.
Because I know,
you don't feel the same way.

I'm writing this poem,
and starting to cry.
I want you to know,
that I really did try.

I tried to stop,
and stay just friends.
So I'll silence my feelings,
so our friendship don't end.

What we have is special,
and I value that more.
So please just ignore this,
and do not keep score.
